Terms of Use

Thelwen is made and maintained by one person. There is no company behind it yet. Questions about these terms can be raised at github.com/IdanYakubov/thelwen/issues.

This website, the waitlist on it, the community around Thelwen, and the paid Thelwen service once it opens. Where a rule applies to only one of them, it says so.

Thelwen and this website are provided as they are, without warranties beyond those the law where you live requires. Features may change or be removed.

Joining is free and commits you to nothing. It also does not guarantee access, a launch date or a price. You can leave at any time, as described in the Privacy Policy. You must be 16 or older to join.

These apply once the full system is on sale. Nothing can be bought today.

• There are two plans: Basic at US$15 a month, with 50 AI mentor messages a day, and Deluxe at US$29.99 a month, with 100 a day. Prices are the same everywhere. The website shows them converted into your currency and rounded up to a normal price; the price shown at checkout, in your currency and including any tax, is the price you pay.
• The subscription renews every month until you cancel it.
• You can cancel at any time. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.
• Subscriptions are sold only on the website, not in the app stores. Refunds follow the law where you live.
• If the price changes, you will be told by email before the new price applies to you.

You own what you write in Thelwen. We store and process it only to provide the service to you: syncing it, running the analysis and letting the mentor answer.

Thelwen is built with its community. If you share ideas or feedback, in the waitlist, on Discord or anywhere else, we may use them to build Thelwen without paying you or crediting you for them.

Be decent to other people. No harassment, hate, spam or illegal content. We may remove anyone who breaks this from the community or the waitlist. Discord’s own terms also apply there.

Thelwen’s mentor uses AI, and AI can be wrong. The mentor is a tool for reflection. It is not medical, psychological, legal or financial advice. If you are in crisis, contact a crisis line or emergency number where you are.

To the fullest extent the law where you are allows, the person who makes Thelwen is not liable for lost data, missed work, or any decision you take after using the app or reading something the mentor said. For the full system, total liability is limited to what you paid in the 12 months before the claim. If your law does not allow a limit this broad, the narrowest limit it does allow applies.

Thelwen, the waitlist and the paid service are for people aged 16 and over.

When these terms change, the date at the top moves. For changes that affect subscribers or waitlist members, we will also email you before they take effect.
